It's never easy thinking of changing jobs, starting new careers, or starting a new business. It's very tricky at times deciding on what will make you happy versus is there enough pay. To be happy in your work, it may be beneficial to look at your 'sweet spot'. This is where what you do best, what you love and what the market will buy are connected.

This is a great indication of where you might find work that you love or where you may want to look at what area to work or start a new business.

When looking to change your work first look at the areas that interest you rather than the money it may bring. You will find that by doing work that you enjoy you will be happier than just opting for the money alone.

You must have passion for what you do. So, to find work that you love you have to look for ways that you can feel fulfilled and enjoy your working week. This is what creates balance in life also, as, you are happier when you go home and in your leisure time.

You may have a very high paid job, but the stress and unrealistic hours are killing you? This is not only terrible for your blood pressure but you will be more likely to have arguments as your demeanour is tense more often.

It may be wiser to look at your finances and see where you can cut back so that you don't need such a high paying job. Your expenses may well be high and this is common, however, the idea is not to retire and have a heart attack. Try and seek a healthy balance when you are looking to find work that you love.

Here are the 6 things to consider when you want to find work that you love

1) What your passions are?

2) What skills do you already have?

3) What you or friends say that you are great at?

4) What issues have you faced in life that made you a kind of expert?

5) Look at a balance of pay and passion, just money does not bring happiness.

6) Don't be afraid to be bold and totally different to what you are used to. Think big.

Study the people whom you love. What do they do? What jobs do they have that you would or could possibly do yourself? Get ideas down on paper and start to look at the 'sweet spot' image so that you can really define your core areas. Then you will be able to find the right career for you.
