Certified Professional Coach (2012) - International Coach Academy
Certified Professional Coach and Mentor (2011) - Institute of Leadership and Management (UK)
European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Assessor (2010)
Diploma in Public Sector Leadership (2005) - Ashridge Business School (UK)

I have worked for the following organizations -

Scottish Children's Reporter Administration (2006- 2011) - Planning and Performance Manager
Investors in People UK - Head of Strategic Planning and Performance Management (2000 - 2006)
Western Kentucky University - Training Co-ordinator within the Economic Development Center (1994-1999)

My Coaching and Work Experience

I've been coaching since 2009, having worked first as a leadership and executive coach within the public sector in Scotland. Once I achieved certification in 2011, I moved to the USA where I started my own coaching business as a business coach. I now work with people who want to build businesses that do Good in the world.

Prior to coaching, I had a 15 year career as a highly skilled corporate trainer, leadership and organizational development specialist, and strategic planner. I have extensive experience in helping organizations and the people within them identify their strengths and develop themselves to improve organizational performance.

I spent ten years living and working in the UK following university (at which I pursued a teaching degree). While in the UK I worked first as a strategic planner in an organization responsible for business improvement initiatives. I worked closely with assessors as they helped large, multi-national businesses improve their performance through people development, and lead a project to bring these good practices into South Africa. Later, I worked within a government agency in Scotland responsible for child protection across the country. Here I lead programs around organizational change and leadership development, developed an internal coaching program, and worked closely with teams to improve organizational performance and service levels.

My main objective working with Rebecca was to better understand why I was changing jobs so often and then to identify some factors to keep in mind in my present job search in order to change some habits.
    The objectives have been achieved!

I am aware of the type of organization/boss that will be more suitable to my style. I do have a job checklist completed as well as more aware of the perception given during an interview. More aware of working on my building my confidence and … Assertiveness I must say that Rebecca has been providing some provoking thought in me, that lead to some astonishing revelations about who I am as well as to accept it as my uniqueness.

Rebecca’s main focus on the Wife/Family vs. Work duality, has been very rich in many discoveries, that has lead me to see the world and myself differently, toward being a better person and leader.

Rebecca has been my coach for a few months now. She is smart, warm, intuitive and brilliant at keeping me on task and achieving the goals I set for myself.

She has led me by example in my own coaching career. Yes, that’s right I am also a coach. Could you imagine how tough it would be to coach “A Coach”!
She is truly one of the best. I recommend her without reservation to anyone wanting more from their life on a whole.

It has been a valuable experience to continue my professional journey to work with Rebecca as my coach. It has helped me to be aware the pros and cons of Myers Briggs test tools and how to maximize the self-awareness. It also helps me to understand the importance of self-acknowledgement and how it creates the positive energy to help myself moving forwards.
It is a quality coaching experience with good interactions and supportive environment to explore my potential. I like the reading material that Rebecca offered; she is resourceful and good partner to me.
Rebecca has open attitude and an active listener; she always shows her curiosity about me and supports me to explore new perspectives to find solutions myself.
I enjoyed the coaching journey with Rebecca and hope to keep regular contact with her as lifelong coaching partnership.

She has an amazing coaching style. She is very organized, with a very good mood and energy. I really appreciate her humor and positive way of talking/thinking. She is completely focused on the client, committed with excellence. She’s got the rare ability to get a balance between the client’s pace and the goals the client wants to achieve.

Rebecca has coached me to create a business that I truly love, a business that comes from my heart and my passions. She helped me do this during a time of many personal transitions and I quickly learned that my personal and professional life walk hand-in-hand. Because of this, I found great benefit in Rebecca’s ability to help me gain perspective on the issues at hand as well as find my inner strength, wisdom and heart to move forward. Rebecca's wisdom and care has helped me evolve into the person and business leader I deeply wanted to be.
