Customer Reviews

  • from Lorna – Acting Deputy Head Primary School on 25 Jul 2014

‘In addition to enjoying my coaching sessions with Louise, she also managed to unlock a hidden ambitious streak in me! The coaching has improved my confidence immensely in both my professional and private life. Louise sensitively questioned some of my beliefs and helped me to see a different perspective. She encouraged me to challenge my inner thoughts and to think and act in a more positive and assertive way. My life now has a direction that I never thought possible.
I really can’t recommend Louise enough and my advice to anyone thinking of coaching would be to ‘just go for it’.’

  • from Samantha, Child Support Worker on 07 May 2014

  • from Tracey, NHS Consultant OT on 23 Apr 2014

“Thank you for the sessions we had…. They really gave me time to think and put ‘things’ I had in my head into perspective. For me home life will always be the most important aspect of my life but I have started to enjoy my work again and I am no longer scouring NHS Jobs for something different!!!!!”

  • from Ali, Editor NG5 Magazine on 04 Mar 2014

“At no point did I feel judged or embarrassed and I think Louise’s easy manner helped me relax and chat away. In fact I didn’t shut up! It made me realise that we rarely talk about ourselves and sometimes we should.
What Louise did do was make me see things from a different perspective and I left my first session with a number of actions and a real sense of purpose.”

  • from Donna, Gangmasters Licensing Authority, Nottingham on 01 Feb 2014

“I was amazed at how much I actually enjoyed the sessions and how much we discussed. It is a little bit of “me” time where I could sit for an hour and talk about whatever I wanted-and how refreshing to be able to talk so openly to somebody!
The sessions allowed me to remember dreams and aspirations I had forgotten I had, not only that but Louise made me realise that I could still achieve these goals. I felt so much more positive and assertive after each session. It has made me realise the best things about my life.
I would recommend anyone try coaching – even if you think it won’t be for you, you’ll be surprised at just how much you get out of it!’’

  • from Sherrel, General Manager - Child & Family Health Team (NHS) on 30 Jan 2014

I would just like to thank you for the whole ‘coaching’ experience. This is the first time I have undertaken ‘coaching’ and I wasn’t sure what to expect and on reflection it has been invaluable. I felt confident to share leadership and management experiences with you and you respectfully challenged my thoughts and the way I had responded to some situations. You gave me some excellent ‘tools’ to add to my toolkit. As a result I feel I have matured in my views towards leadership and going forward I know the type of leader I aspire to be.

  • from Bill, General Manager - Park House Health & Social Care Centre (NHS) on 29 Jan 2014

‘’I have been fortunate in being able to access coaching organised through the learning and development team of my employing organisation.
This has enabled me to reflect on all aspects of my management practice, where I sit in the organisation, who I need to work with and for, in order to improve my performance. It has also enabled me to reflect on issues outside of work and understand the importance of work life balance. Louise is particularly skilled in allowing me to 'sound off' whilst ensuring that having done so I am focused upon developing solutions.
I have found the 'arms-length' arrangement by which Louise is independently employed rather than on the payroll of the organisation of particular value. I have found Louise to be entirely trustworthy and discreet in her practice and the strategies she has encouraged me to develop have made a significant difference to my career development.’’

  • from Natalie Nottingham, January 2012 on 28 Jan 2014

‘’Instantly upon meeting Louise she made me feel at ease and very comfortable as if she was a friend I hadn't seen in a while. I felt very much in control of my sessions and had Louise's experience and expertise to guide me through to answering my questions. I found Louise to be 100% professional and confidential. She encouraged me to look at things from many different angles, with Louise's support I achieved this.
Louise also had a fantastic way of listening, I would talk away and know I would always have her complete attention. I found the sessions to be thought-provoking and fun. I felt fresh, free and she always left me with an open mind. I would fully recommend her coaching. Thanks for all you help and support.’’

  • from Andrea – NHS Project Manager on 25 Jan 2014

‘’I commenced the coaching with Louise and through this process, she assisted and guided me with facilitating the exploration of my needs, motivations, desires, skills and thought processes to assist in making the desired and lasting changes that I required.

She used questioning techniques to facilitate my own thought processes in order to identify solutions and actions rather than takes a wholly directive approach and she supported me in setting appropriate goals and methods of assessing progress in relation to these goals.

Louise observed, attentively listened and asked questions to understand my situation and she creatively applied tools and techniques and encouraged a commitment for me to action the development of lasting personal growth & change.

Louise maintained unconditional positive regard for me and was at all times supportive and non-judgemental of my views, lifestyle and aspirations. She assessed, measured and responded appropriately and supportively in ensuring that I developed my own personal competencies and this avoided developing any attachment and unhealthy dependency on the coaching or mentoring relationship.

Louise evaluated the outcomes of the process, using objective measures wherever possible to ensure the relationship was successful for me to achieve my personal goals.

I found the use of coaching very beneficial and found that my outlook had changed and I was able to take away some new skills for making important decisions and future changes. I would recommend the application of coaching to my colleagues and I understand that some have already utilised Louise and also recommended this as being a really positive way of taking control.

I have since managed to use my skills and consider a new direction in my career and have found an increase in job satisfaction, drive and motivation, so much that I have since been successful in acquiring a new post in healthcare. I would certainly use and recommend coaching again in the future.’’
