Hazel is a very intuitive, pragmatic, supportive & focused. She has delivered a well-reasoned solution in her mentoring project for me.

I requested knowledge and experience of recruitment from the corporate side in the current economic climate as I felt this would give me some internal insight so I can sell myself better in the job-hunting arena. Additionally, I required some pastoral guidance and support for my current role, whilst I am job-hunting.
Hazel has demonstrated she certainly has the knowledge and experience to help me. She has supported me in understanding areas I can positively affect and those areas that are beyond my control. With regard to the latter, she has introduced me to different approaches and coached me in applying these to help me look at and deal with work and personal situations in alternative and positive ways.
Hazel is instantly engaging. She has a relaxed and approachable manner yet is controlled and focussed to ensure our sessions don’t deviate from the priorities I have given her as preparation. This helps me get the best out of my sessions.
On a more general note I would recommend coaching and mentoring as the norm for specific issues or as part of personal professional development for managers. It provides an independent and unbiased injection to making an individual more aware and where they can add value to themselves and their companies. How can this not be a positive business benefit?
