My Coaching and Work Experience

I offer group and individual coaching solutions for a range of issues.

Coaching Style

I encourage clients to be honest with themselves, to practice self-compassion and be committed to progress rather than simply focusing on the endpoint.

My focus is on:

  • acknowledging past achievements for evidence of ability,
  • getting excited about the journey by being clear on what we want to do, who we want to be, and/or how we want to feel,
  • gaining a more helpful perspective
  • being open to and courageous with opportunities,
  • building empowering beliefs
  • releasing yourself from self-sabotaging behaviours,
  • increasing confidence with baby steps (challenging but not overwhelming)
  • AND ENJOYING THE PROCESS.

I mainly rely on deep intuitive listening and connection to ask the right questions in any given moment. I also have a range of tools and exercises to use when it would best serve the client. I do not have a list of questions or exercises I use over and over again, because every person and their situation is a unique and changeable.

I do use NLP techniques, time line coaching, coaching through Poetry, clean language, inner dialogue, for example.

Get your sexy back - for women with bowel disorders
If you have been living with a long term bowel disorder and have experienced any of the following, I can offer a tailored program to get you feeling feminine, confident, and living life to the full thanks to your health issues, not in spite of them!

  • low sex drive or embarrassment around sex
  • reduced physical intimacy with partner
  • relationship becoming more companion than lover
  • loss of body confidence - unloving relationship with your body
  • loss of feminine identity
  • loss of confidence at work or in social situations
  • restricted lifestyle because of fear of awkward toilet situations or fatigue

Career Break Coaching
Look at the big picture, explore your needs and values, overcome your concerns, be guided by your inner wisdom, make an informed, balanced decision about whether to take the plunge and if so, what to do and what arrangements need to be made for the break and the return!

Personal Fulfillment Coaching
Ever thought, "There's got to be more to life...." but

  • you are not quite sure what it is ....
  • or wanted to do something more meaningful with your life .....?
  • or know what you really want to do but don't know how or where to start......?

I can help you to:

- access the authentic you (that is the real you without the distraction of daily-life mind clutter) and discover what living a fulfilling life means for you.

- tap into your creative abilities using 'bigger picture thinking' to make the most of opportunities and your natural potential.

- expand your self-expectations and motivate you to take effective and focused action towards living the life you want.

Creating New Habits - I have done a fair bit of research and practice on the intentional creation of habits, especially choosing keystone habits which allow other 'good' habits to more easily fall into place. Contact me for 1-2-1 support on habit creation, if you need less 'coaching' and more simply the motivation and discipline to stick at it long enough for the new habit to get ingrained.

Discovery Parties - Coaching Parties at home - A Discovery Party is an inspirational, fun but purposeful coaching experience. Its like an mini workshop, with a twist...everything is based on games and has a party like atmosphere which reduces pressure, promotes positivity and helps shift perspective beyond the norm.

Sasha worked with me for over 6 months and this resulted in huge leaps forward in my goal setting and most importantly goal implementations. I was particularly impressed with her patience, insight and passion for her work. I believe we all have the answers inside but often lock them away when past failures distort our perceptions of the memories. Sasha helped me find the keys to understand that the past does not equal the future.

“Sasha knows as a Coach, just the correct question to ask which I could or should have asked myself, but didn't. These key questions were pivotal for me in moving forward. I would recommend Sasha as your Coach.”

  • from Morven, Bristol on 23 Mar 2014

“Before working with Sasha, I wasn’t convinced of the validity of Life Coaching as a concept and profession. I quickly became aware of the usefulness of our sessions, as areas of my life that had been in confusion were highlighted and real, possible, immediate solutions became clear. Sasha was able to elicit strategies for positive change during a short time, and was able to guide me into making and executing a plan of action that was to get my life in order and realise what was important to me. She provided support and encouragement by email and phone in between our meetings and was a helpful, motivating presence that kept me on track.

Life coaching with Sasha has helped me to look candidly and objectively at my life. In the short term this means that my life is more manageable due to small and large changes that I have made recently; in the long term this means that I am more skilled at evaluating my situation and implementing strategies for positive change. Whilst being bright, bubbly and alert, Sasha also possesses a sharp intellect informed by a wealth of knowledge of coaching skills, business and life matters.”

  • from Sue Tarr, Bath on 11 Mar 2014

At the start of our coaching sessions, I had very little faith that I would get anything much off the ground (despite knowing that I achieved really good results with my therapy work) since that has tended to be my pattern throughout life. I could feel a strong resistance to stepping out of my comfort zone, but you encouraged me to have faith in myself and to keep going with my efforts regardless. That in itself was very valuable but you were also excellent at questioning to pinpoint exactly what steps I needed to take, what was getting in the way and offering lots of useful information to help steer me in the right direction.
I felt that you listened really well to everything I said and also remembered it well and that you were there for me every step of the way. It is no coincidence that I have taken a great leap forward in the time I have been working with you.
Many thanks, Sasha, for all your brilliant input.

  • from C. Jones, Conwy on 24 Feb 2014

Sasha has been my coach at a time of professional transition. I have recently taken time out of regular employment in order to focus more fully on developing my business. Coaching with Sasha provided me with much needed focus, clarity and accountability. With her challenging and insightful questioning style Sasha helped me to explore and clarify various key issues of my business including target niche and marketing strategies. Apart from inspiring me to arrive at my own solutions she also freely shared from her own wealth of valuable insights and knowledge.
I felt Sasha listened with her heart, as well as her mind, as I meandered through different layers of my professional identity, and as a result helped me to stay true to myself. I appreciated her warmth, honesty, integrity and passion, but above all I loved the enthusiasm she communicated to me about my work, her belief in me and tons of encouragement she dished out most generously throughout. She opened my eyes to the progress and the victories which I so often dismissed having focused on what was still missing.
I would like to recommend Sasha as a coach as thanks to her I feel I am now in a much better, clearer and more confident position from which to carry out my work.

  • from Sara Sanderson on 20 Jan 2014

Before working with Sasha, I was trying to distil how to bring all of my experiences together to make a clear offer to a particular group of people i.e. know who I'm marketing to and what I will offer them. Plus I was frustrated about starting so many useful courses but so far not completing them and getting overwhelmed.

After our time together, I was instantly able to feel calm about the process of discovering who I work with, what I offer and how to get my message out. So accepting that now I could be comfortable with allowing that area of my business to unfold, we concentrated next on how I could complete the many courses I'd signed up to.

As a result I immediately went online and found the case study participants I needed to complete one of my courses. I'm now on track to complete that course one month after working with Sasha. I also have a schedule for working through the other courses and commitments I've made. I feel stronger in myself and more organised in my business from working with Sasha and taking the actions we agreed.

I would absolutely recommend Sasha because Sasha is extremely intuitive and is able to point out the things you can't see about yourself and what you are or are not doing. Sasha has great suggestions to support you to develop clear and achievable actions that get immediate results. Sasha is also warm and encouraging plus not afraid to challenge you when needed, which I certainly needed at the time.

I have taken immediate action which has resulted in me knowing when I will finish a course I started over a year ago. I will now finish it in the next few weeks. I feel more confident about finishing the other courses I've started and have a schedule in place to help me.

My work with Sasha has been transformational. I feel seen and heard, empowered and challenged. She has supported me in seeing myself from different perspectives, which has helped me to step into new ways of being that are life giving. She is practical and at the same time holds the bigger vision. She has provided some extremely useful tools that have given me more joy, hope and power in my everyday life. Bottom line; I really feel that she is walking my path with me, helping me to recognize my own brilliance. And that is priceless.

When I first went for a consultation with Sasha Turki, my life was very chaotic. I had already had help from a range of highly skilled support professionals. Their work was indispensable in finding short term solutions to entrenched problems. However, they did not have the time, skills and/or professional remit to tackle underlying problems. In the end I had to look for a more empowered, long-term approach. I found Sasha Turki through word of mouth. Her down-to-earth methods, no-nonsense and warm interactions, and passion for the work helped me chip away at issues such as procrastination, lack of daily structure, erratic social life, and lack of focus on weight/exercise. My life does not yet operate like a perfect machine – in fact, I’m not sure this is feasible – but it is far removed from the instability that used to characterise it. I have her to thank for that.
