I have 25 years of communication experience working in a variey of sectors - corporate, government, and not for profit. I'm qualified in coaching, counselling, NLP and therapy, starting back in 1998 as an independent executive coach. I help many people to be more confident, communicate better and become more capable to think differently and be more effective and happier at what they do.

  • Leading transformation programme to change culture, communication, skills and capability through a personal development programme for leadership team within The Portal Partnership, an award-winning IT consultancy with specialist expertise in social, insight and mobile solutions. 
  • Set up and directed transformation communication strategy, plans, new communication infrastructure, key messages, new channels, processes, competencies and skills for Hillingdon Council; re-launched and redesigned essential channels e.g. Intranet, coached managers to improve engagement, performance and attitudes to change.  
  • Designed business-wide change communication strategy to drive online account management; set up and enhanced communication infrastructure and networks in parallel with hands-on facilitation, design and delivery of internal communications for the British Gas Digital team
  • Created a transformational leadership communication programme in 2011 for Standard Life’s communication function shortlisted for a CIPR award; designed & managed 2010 global communication audit across 15 divisions.
  • Designed and directed change communication strategy in 2011 for Balfour Beatty and North East Lincs Council’s outsourcing programme; devised kick-off event, communication structure and campaign for an outsourcing programme for Unilever Global IS; created communication framework for EUC strategy for Centrica IS
  • Engaged a global audience at Astra Zeneca with new safety culture, encouraging attitude and behaviour change by creating an online campaign and network of regional champions; developed new vision and values and safety culture working with leaders of Qatari gas business South Hook LNG.
  • Created and led communications reviews, employee surveys, channel audits and developed internal strategies for NSPCC, The Bookseller and others.
  • Designed and hosted wellbeing workshops, presentation skills and coaching sessions for Sanofi Pasteur MSD, Vocalink, Warner Brothers, Standard Life
  • Designed and facilitated many successful change, communication and team building programmes for senior/middle managers with high evaluation ratings in the private sector e.g. Utility, Airport, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals and  public/not for profit sector e.g. Education, Charity, Government.
  • As senior communication consultant, led a team to create an award winning on- line programme for 3M’s UK employees to motivate use of the Intranet
  • Led a team and created a global strategic approach to introduce Nycomed Amersham’s revolutionary DNA sequencing system to worldwide audiences using innovative learning maps, which improved and sustained understanding of strategy significantly over 6 month period.
  • Designed and developed UK and global change communication strategy and campaigns for ASDA, Littlewoods, Diageo and The Home Office which included internal launch of new brand proposition, production of range of media, managing employee launch events, supporting development of IC channels and crafting materials for re-launch of magazine and intranet.
  • Measured, developed and delivered change communication strategy for  Alliance and Leicester, GSK, The Audit Commission, Manpower, Visit Britain
  • Engineered behaviour change through communication consultancy, coaching and skills development at all levels, with diverse audiences e.g. HM Prison Service Governors.
  • Designed, implemented and reviewed new team briefing systems for NSPCC, Diageo, Littlewoods, Audit Commission.
  • Designed and delivered cultural audit for Lloyds TSB to evaluate organisational values and working practices which led to far-reaching programme of improvements in leadership practices.
  • Introduced new vision and values and customer service programme to Bedfordshire County Council to reduce customer complaints.
  • Facilitated change initiatives and communication training for global audiences for Diageo, Nokia, DHL IS.
  • Conducted channel review for British Gas leading to successful rationalisation of internal publications, creation of new communication framework and communication training for British Gas managers. 
  • Created a virtual internal communications agency with a team of associates
  • Launched the new ‘Club World’ and ‘First’ passenger services to a global internal audience for British Airways
  • Supported Lloyds and TSB with the merger of their communications divisions
  • Created an innovative, leading edge loyalty programme for NatWest credit card customers, and invented the brand ‘Reward Yourself’
  • Produced newsletters for internal communication of new service provision relating to encryption and security coding for The Royal Mail
  • Redesigned McVitie’s’ meeting and working processes empowering employees in a highly successful programme rolled out company- wide
  • Introduced a Quality Management system to Glaxo/Allen&Hanburys
  • Designed a safety communication programme for the construction of the Jubilee Line for London Underground
  • Managed internal & external launch communication of ‘Investor in People’, quality and customer care programmes for a local authority to maximise employee performance ensuring Charter Mark status.
  • As Account Director for European communication programmes for Shell Oils, led team to communicate European wide launch of Shell Helix oil to the market in three months
  • Instrumental in developing quality management systems so Project Link  became 1st UK marketing/project management agency to achieve ISO 9000I
  • Introduced a Quality Management system into BT’s Marketing Department
