Hello there, I’m a former journalist and writer who knows a thing or two about stress, pressure and deadlines. I have a BA (Hons) in journalism and sociology and an MSc in rational-emotive and cognitive behaviour therapy (RECBT). I also hold a diploma in clinical hypnosis and another (with distinction) in cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy.
I’ve been in private practice since 2004 and also hold clinics for a major healthcare company (where I specialise in work-related stress management and trauma) and at an NHS trust hospital (where I specialise in the treatment of chronic pain and its associated emotional problems).
I also lecture in CBT and hypnotherapy at the College of Cognitive Behaviour Therapies and have written and presented my own specialist workshops. I’ve written therapy articles for Lighter Life and other magazines and have been interviewed in articles for The Daily Mail, The Metro, Body Matters and more.
