I partner with leaders & groups from Catholic schools & organisations in their struggles to be authentically Catholic, genuinely making a difference, effectively living the Gospel, & creating a worthwhile future, a future that matters.
Andrea Dean has her own business called Future Matters, which supports individuals, leaders and groups from Catholic schools and organisations in their struggles to be authentically Catholic, genuinely making a difference, effectively living the Gospel, and creating a worthwhile future, a future that matters.
Andrea is a Churchill Fellow (2004), an entertaining educator and gifted facilitator and coach. She loves interacting with children, moving to the beat, exploring new places and using her ipad to connect with others.
Andrea Dean is a popular facilitator in Catholic schools (Vision and Mission Process, St Patrick’s College, Campbelltown, 2015), with Catholic leaders (strategic planning sessions, Catholic Education, Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn, 2014) and with specialist groups (Spiritual Formation for Adults, Brisbane, 2015).
Andrea has lectured in programs offered through the Australian Catholic University and the University of Canberra. Most recently she co-designed and taught a preparation program for leading spiritual retreats and contributed to a major mentoring program for educators in the Australian Capital Territory. She has more than 25 years experience in promoting growth through education, facilitation and retreat work.
Andrea is a spiritual coach and is committed to helping individuals and groups seriously engage with the question What is it that you plan to do with your one wild and precious life? so beautifully posed by the poet Mary Oliver.
Her focus is on deep transformation and attentive presence to the sacred. Currently Andrea is enrolled in Soul Companions, a three year program for training in spiritual direction. After a brief foray into work beyond Catholic organisations, Andrea has renewed her commitment to fostering Catholic identity. She applies this commitment to transformation, courage, compassion and community through coaching, facilitation, retreat work and consultation.
