I have never felt so at ease in a therapist’s office. Rachel is everything a great therapist is supposed to be. She’s the whole package! I have learned how to manage and cope with all facets of my emotional self. Rachel has helped me to realize that my illness does not define me. I appreciate that.

I feel so incredibly lucky that stumbled upon Rachel’s practice (or maybe I can give my “gut” a little more credit for choosing her ha – Rachel would probably like to hear that, she did teach me to tune into it!). Rachel has offered me so much more than I could have ever imagined in our time together. I came in looking for help with a career change, but she has helped me build a strong sense of self-identity in every area of my life: family, friends, relationships, career. She is caring and patient (although that word barely does her skills justice), and incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and intelligent. She is dedicated to her own continuing education, which is so important to me because I am an information junkie, and she always knows the latest books to recommend to supplement our work together. And watching the growth of her own practice, I can tell she practices what she preaches. She is a master of so many trades: career coach, therapist, relationship specialist, and even most recently for me: startup business coach – keeping me grounded and moving forward! I just cannot say enough about how incredible of a listener and teacher she is, and I am so grateful that I found her when I did. If everyone were to work with a “Rachel”, the world would be a much better place.

  • from T.S., relationships, anxiety on 21 Dec 2015

Rachel made me feel comfortable right from the start. She listens to what I say and helps me understand what I’m feeling. Most importantly, she’s helped me understand that it’s ok to feel what I feel and not to over think everything. My confidence (both professionally and personally) has skyrocketed. I came in wanting to deal with personal issues only but the benefits of counseling are evident in all areas of my life. – My general thought process has changed – it is more positive, believing that good things can happen. And, if they don’t, I can handle it. I really appreciate everything Rachel has done for me and would recommend her in a heartbeat!

  • from Retirement career on 30 Sep 2015

I was impressed with Rachel’s listening skills and with her ability to see patterns in what I said to her. I would highly recommend her as a counselor.

  • from relationship on 08 Aug 2015

Rachel is very professional, perceptive, and helpful. I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to work with her.

  • from R.C., addiction, self-esteem on 15 Jun 2015

Talking to Rachel does not feel contrived, she has genuine concern. While I talk AT her, she talks TO me. I have benefited from my experience through sobriety. While I began and carried on the process independently, Rachel was the catalyst. I don’t know if I would be in the same position had I not began working with her.

  • from A.C., depression & anxiety on 28 May 2015

Rachel is a great counselor. She is kind, understanding and insightful. The office setting feels more home-like than office like, which I prefer. I feel relaxed there. I have been able to manage and cope with my anxiety. By doing that, I have minimized my depression.

  • from A.T, mid-career change on 09 Jan 2015

Rachel has been extremely helpful and encouraging during this time of change for me when serious decisions are about to be made. She provided excellent suggestions and really took time to listen to my concerns.

  • from R.V., sexual identity transition on 25 May 2016

Rachel was always caring, insighful, and asked questions that guided me to finding the answers for myself. She encouraged me to explore and find out who this new me really is. She helped me with grieving and acceptance. And forgiveness. She helped me learn how my childhood needs have influenced my adult needs. Your counseling has helped me to cope with, process, and understand the most difficult time of my life.

  • from L.H., family on 02 Apr 2016

Her support helped me through the largest crisis of my adult life.

  • from J.C., emotional eating group member on 27 Jan 2016

Rachel has a tremendous gift for being compassionate and empathetic, while at the same time challenging participants to look at the issues. Just what I needed! Thank you.

  • from H.R., career change on 07 Nov 2015

Rachel provided me with direction and motivation in my career exploration. I now feel that I have a better understanding of myself and what is important to me in my career search. I was extremely satisfied with my experience.

  • from T.M., career change on 01 Oct 2015

Meeting with Rachel was very constructive, which is a result of Rachel’s unique ability to ask the right questions, listen attentively and to make others feel at ease.

  • from K.D., depression & anxiety on 17 Jun 2015

Rachel made me feel like I had someone on my side, which I needed so badly. I can’t express how much better that made me feel.

  • from A.F., anxiety & work life balance on 14 Mar 2015

Rachel is compassionate and rational. Rachel helps me to re-frame my negative thoughts constructively. I believe that meeting with Rachel has helped me to make positive changes in my personal and professional life.
